Case Study: Smash Down Album Art Evolution
Objective Develop a cohesive visual identity for the "Smash Down" rap album, focusing on themes of cultural unity between America and Mexico.
Concept & Creative Direction The visual narrative was built on the concept of bridge-building—merging distinct cultural iconography into a unified, high-impact aesthetic. The goal was to create a modern, editorial brand presence that captured the energy of the album’s sound.
Execution & AI Integration
Static Concept Art: I utilized AI-assisted workflows to generate foundational imagery. By iterating through style prompts, we established a core visual language that felt both authentic and polished.
Refinement: The design was meticulously curated to ensure the typography and layout reflected a sophisticated, minimalist editorial style, grounding the AI-generated elements in professional design principles.
From Static to Motion To amplify the project’s presence, the static cover art was transformed into dynamic motion-driven visual storytelling using Adobe Firefly.
Motion Implementation: By applying AI-driven animation techniques, I brought static elements to life, creating fluid transitions that bridge cultural narratives.
Final Output: The resulting animation elevates the brand beyond a simple cover, turning the album artwork into a piece of immersive, motion-driven media that resonates with the audience on a deeper, more visceral level.
